VIRTVS AVGVSTOR (Augustorum):

- Rome or Valour, helmeted, seated to left, holding Victory and a parazonium; before or behind her, a |shield|; on silver coins and second brass of Septimius Severus, on silver coins and bronze AE1 and AE2 of Caracalla, on silver coins of Caracalla and Geta, and on silver coins and second brass of Geta.

- Carinus and Numerian standing opposite each other. Numerian is crowned by the Sun and Carinus by Hercules who holds a club and lion's skin. Obv: IMP C M AVR VARINVS P F AVG, laureate bust of Carinus right; bronze medallion.
